And follow me as a Gigaset GS-190 and today I will show you how to bypass the Google verification on this phone
0:15
And obviously, you can see that the phone right here is locked and I could either verify the old account using the previously set pattern
0:22
or if I press right here using the Google account. Now keep in mind there is a pattern mentioning that because I'm going to
0:30
changed it throughout the process. And there's the Google Accountas you can see
0:34
So, to get started, you do want to connect to Wi-Fi. So if you haven't done that yet, do it right now
0:40
And once you have connected to Wi-Fi, go back to the first page right over here
0:45
And on this page, grab a SIM card and pop it into the device
0:49
That SIM card needs to have at least one SIM contact. It doesn't matter what the contact is
0:54
It just needs one. And from there, you want to go to the emergency call. Once you insert your SIM card, I already did
0:59
inserted so that's why I don't need to you'll see in a second that it is there and from here
1:04
top on emergency information twice then on the pencil to edit and choose add contact which it will
1:11
show you all the contacts that are on the SIM card now if you inserted your SIM card and there
1:17
is no contact visible right here give it like a minute or so this device is the fastest one so sometimes
1:24
if this is like straight out of factory reset the device will prioritize doing other stuff in the back
1:29
and it will take a little bit of time for it to actually load up the contact so
1:34
just keep it open on this page and wait for the contacts to spontaneously appear
1:39
on the screen basically now anyway once you have those contacts visible choose
1:44
any kind of contact you want just simply click on it like that and as you can
1:50
see now I added emergency contact from here you want to tap on that contact choose
1:56
the three dots and go to share That's not the share that I'm looking for, so I'm gonna see something else
2:07
I have a help and feedback, maybe it's right here. Oh, okay, so that simplifies it
2:14
So you need to only press help and feedback. From here let type in on Describe Your Issue and type in two simple letters M And it actually doesn bring it up what I need so I guess I need to do it differently
2:31
Not this. Let me quickly check because this is a little bit
2:49
bit different now. Yes let's go with the share and continue. Oh there we go
3:07
So that's what I was looking for for the entire time. So as you can see I'm gonna do it
3:12
once more. So once you're, once you click on the contact up on the three dots go to share
3:18
and from here continue and this will bring up the actually page that we need so from here
3:26
once you see the gmail option instead of tapping on this as you normally do you want to hold it
3:32
this will bring up this little window right here and from here we're going to go to the app info
3:37
give it a second for it to load and from here we're going to go into notifications
3:44
advanced and then additional settings in the app let's go to three dots and then open feedback
3:52
and now we should be able to type in MO and there we go we get the suggested use Morse code
3:58
so you want to select that tap on the video it will load it up
4:05
and then you can tap on the three dots on the video and choose watch later which will open up
4:11
we'll see browser or YouTube So it opens up browser, which is good
4:18
So tap on Accept and Continue. No thanks. And now in the searchbar right at the top, you want to type in hard reset
4:24
That info slash bypass. Like so
4:36
If you need a moment, pause the video. So once you on the website right here you want to start scroll down Now if this pop appears just select consent whatever And I just clicked on something that I didn want to click so I going to go back There we go
4:53
So on this website, you want to scroll down, and you will have a settings application right here
4:58
And I need to simply tap on it. This will redirect you to the actual phone settings page
5:04
And in here, scroll down to security and location. Scroll down to Advanced
5:10
Scroll down some more. and you will find the option called screen pinning
5:15
Upon that, turn it on, and then also turn on a lock device when unpinning
5:21
and this will bring up an option for you to set up a screen lock
5:26
Now, as you previously did see, which I did mention, the way of unlocking the device or verifying it
5:32
was the pattern or previously set pattern. So just to keep it completely different
5:38
I'm going to change it up to something completely different. so instead of pattern I'm going to go with a pin just so it will look different
5:44
and from here it asks us about secure a startup let's select no
5:49
and now we just get to put in our pin now I'll put a one two three four pin
5:55
just because it's simple and quick and honestly I do advise you to do the same thing
5:59
it will make it a little bit easier throughout the process just when I insert the
6:04
pin I can just tell you the pin so let's select set it up to be one two three
6:10
Next, confirm, one, two, three, four. And now it's set. Now it also asks us to add a fingerprint
6:19
Let's just skip it. It's not needed. So once you have added that pin, hold power key
6:27
and select reboot. And as you can see, the device is now rebooted
6:38
Now, the thing that is asking right here is the pin for the sim card which well it's also one two three four for me but if you have some kind
6:46
of pin on your sim card it will obviously be most likely different so let's just unlock the sim card
6:52
and now it's asking for the pin for the device so it is the one that we have chosen one two
6:59
three four and this will unlock the device and as you can see we are still in the setup so again
7:05
let progress through it now at this moment I do recommend you to just skip through everything that you can It doesn really matter what we set up right now so yeah
7:17
And as you can see right now, we're on the verification page and there is something really interesting
7:23
Instead of a pattern, it's asking us for a pin right now. And that is because Android is such a great device that it only can remember one screen like at a time
7:32
So the previous pattern now got overwritten with the pin that we have chosen
7:36
that we have chosen because it can only remember one of those
7:40
So to unlock it, one, two, three, four, and there we go
7:49
Now I do recommend you to perform a factory reset of the device once you finish up the setup
7:53
because there is still a chance that there is some leftovers from the previous account
7:59
So let's just, I'm going to skip through most of this, finish up the setup as quick as I can
8:04
and show you where I can perform the factory reset quickly. So, okay, so once you're on the home screen, open up settings
8:19
scroll all the way down to system, advanced, reset options, erase all data factory reset
8:27
and from here, reset phone. Again, we need to put in that pencil, one, two, three, four, and then top on erase everything, and the same
8:36
This will just begin another factory reset of the device. But at that point, when you're doing the factory reset through settings, it does remove everything
8:46
including Google accounts. So by doing so, there will be no accounts that will be blocking you
8:53
The device will be fully unlocked at the point of one once the actual factory reset is complete
8:59
And unfortunately we'll be back in the setup screen, but from there you can set your device
9:03
up however you like. I'm not going to go through the reset of the device
9:06
because it's just kind of additional time that it's not needed. You already seen the setup screen
9:12
So all you need to do is just go through a simple setup. And that's it. So anyway, that is how you could bypass the Google verification on this phone
9:21
