How to Allow Service Menu in SUUNTO Ambit3 Peak – Verify System Parameters

Welcome. In front of me I have Suunto Ambit 3 Peak and I'm gonna show you how to enter

the service menu on this device. To enter the service menu we need to press and hold

the start slash stop button and back lab button together. Press and hold them together and

keep holding them for 10 to 15 seconds. Basically you need to hold it until this bar that goes

around the screen fills up like this. Then we can release the buttons and you should

enter the service menu. To move through this menu we can use the start slash stop button

to move up and light slash lock button to move down like this. In this menu we have

few options. First option is test and when you enter here you can test your LCD screen

basically. You can press next and the testing will start. Basically it's gonna switch between

the colors as you can see. And once you're done simply press debug to go back. Let's

go back to the main service menu. Next option is action. We can press next to enter and

here we have few options. First one is clear data. Second one is GPS reset. Then we have

power off and power POD. Clear data clears the rest calibration data if I remember correctly

GPS reset resets the GPS of course. Power off turns off your watch and power POD. I'm

service menu is info. We can again enter by pressing next and here we have two, no three

options. First one is air pressure. If you enter you will get the information about the

Here we can check the version of the software. Serial number, MAC, Bluetooth version I believe

GPS patch version, GPS version, GPS SGEE, I'm not sure what it is, hardware version

and that's all of the options. And next option is Bluetooth basically BLE and here we can

check the Bluetooth status. As you can see we're not connected to anything so it's blank
