Welcome, I'm from Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and today I'll show you how to enable the power
0:11
saving mode. Now to get started, let's look for it in our notification panel with all the toggles and
0:19
see if it's actually here. Now on the right is, so there is the power mode, you can tap on it and as you can see
0:33
it will drop down to medium power saving. There is couple different ways, or couple different modes you can go through to save power
0:41
By default it goes to the, I would say, call it normal power saving mode
0:46
So as you can see in this mode it will turn off always on display and limit the CPU to
0:50
70% along with dropping the brightness or max brightness to by 10%
0:56
So those are just the, kind of like the bare minimum and that will also save the battery
1:02
by a minimum amount I would say. So that is the normal one, now if we go back to the toggle and actually hold it, I believe
1:13
this will take us to the actual options right here. And we have the more drastic power saving mode, the maximum power saving
1:23
And as you can see it does, apparently it does just the same thing as the previous one
1:28
which isn't necessarily the case. It does way more. So let's tap on apply and you will see, now you have a list of everything that it does
1:37
so CPU always on display, restrict background data, limit number of usable apps, dark mode
1:43
turn off biometrics, apparently you won't be able to use fingerprint. And as you can see the phone will kind of look like this
1:53
Now because this is a AMOLED display, or Super AMOLED, the black areas of the display
1:58
aren't actually being lit up, basically the pixels are turned off, so the phone virtually
2:03
needs to, in terms of lighting the display, light up anything that it can see on it
2:10
So that is basically the most maximum and drastic power saving mode that it can get
2:14
and this will actually save the battery substantially, so you will probably get twice as much battery
2:21
So I want to see if there is anything that I can see, but right here it only shows me
2:27
the percentage, it doesn't actually show the remaining time. But from different devices where I've seen, this kind of power saving does save a lot
2:36
of the battery and would be most likely usable only in like really moments where you just
2:44
don't have charger or probably won't have it for a couple days
2:48
Now this will basically prolong the life of your device from like one day normally
2:52
to probably like three days. So once you're done with this mode, you can simply leave it by pulling down the notification
3:00
and tapping on the battery and then everything goes back to normal
3:07
And there we go, as you can see we're now back in the normal mode with the power saving
3:11
being disabled. So if you found this very helpful, don't forget to like, subscribe and thanks for watching
