to the device. So to get started we're going to go into the settings, stop the gear icon right here and

from here let's go into security and location and we have fingerprint right here, stop on it

Now before you can actually add a fingerprint you'll also need to set up a different way of unlocking the device so you will have a choice between PIN, PATTERN or PASSWORD

So just set it up and here's the choice so PIN, PATTERN, PASSWORD, choose which one you want

I'm going to stick with PATTERN. So for PATTERN I just need to draw the pattern that I wish and then repeat it once more

But the process is basically the same for PASSWORD and PIN, just put in the PIN or PASSWORD

and then repeat it once more. And tap on confirm. Then it gives you some options for notifications so choose whichever one you like

Show all notifications, notification content, hide or whatever. This is on a locked device so when the device is locked it will either show or not show

And now you want to start putting in your fingerprint which is this M logo right here

From here you can also add another one so you could try to scan the same finger once more just for a higher chance of success on unlocking the device or add a different finger

For instance if you're using a different hand you might want to add your left hand as well

Tap on done and then if we unlock the device you will see that now there is a pattern to
