Welcome and following me is a Honor 9x Lite and today I will show you how to enable and

set up the portable hotspot. And to get started you want to pull down your notification panel and look for the hotspot

toggle which by default actually won't be enabled so you only tap on this pencil icon

right here and find your hotspot right over here so you can just grab it and drag it

over to the top here and drop it and when you go back you can now access it easily from

your notification panel. Now before you actually tap on it to turn it on I do recommend you, not even recommend

you, you basically need to do it, which is hold the toggle to access the settings where

you can then access configure hotspot which will provide you with the password

Now you can tap on the tiny little eye right here to see the randomly generated password

but honestly what I recommend you to do is actually tapping on the password itself, removing

this one and setting your own. So the new password does need to have 8 characters in length as you can see at which point you

will be able to save it. Now that can be letters, numbers, it doesn't really matter

And additionally you can also change the hotspot name if you want to. The default name is just the name of the device but like I mentioned you can change

it to anything else. From there save the settings and you can toggle it on from here by tapping on this toggle

or by toggling on from your notification panel which as you can see also turns it on here

So that is how you would set up your hotspot and use it. Now once you're done with it I do recommend you to try to remember to turn it off

It didn't look like there was any settings for automatic turn off meaning that once you're

done with the hotspot it will just keep on running as long as it can

So this will consume a little bit more of your battery so if you're not using it there

is really no point for it to be running in the background. That's why I do recommend you to try to remember it and once you're done with it tap on it
