How to Activate and Set Up the Portable Hotspot on the XIAOMI Poco F4 GT

Welcome. In front of me is a Poco F4 GT and today I'll show you how you can enable and

set up your portable hotspot. So to get started you want to pull down your notification panel

from the right side apparently. There we go. And expand it. And in here you'll find a toggle

for the actual portable hotspot. So let's find it. There it is. So once you locate it

if you're doing this the first time around I do urge you just to hold the toggle. This

will quickly take you to the settings. And the reason you want to do it is because by

default phone generates some randomly random password for your hotspot and without actually

going in here you have no way of knowing what it is. So let's select set up portable hotspot

and you can either view this one and try to remember it but let's be honest this is an

absolute mess of a password so we can just remove it and set our own new password. It

does need to have 8 characters in length at which point you can save it. Now here you

have a couple additional toggles. I should be told if you're not sure what they do I

don't recommend you changing them. Anyway let's tap on the checkbox to save it. If you

just go back the settings will revert and you'll have to go back there and change it

again. And once you have set up your password you can now enable your hotspot whenever you

want by simply tapping on the toggle. And there we go it is right now running. Now on

the camera it's not really looking like much has changed. The blue outline is barely visible

right here compared to the greyish one but it is on. You can see it a little bit better

now. And once you're done with it you can turn it off by tapping on the toggle once

again like so and this will disable it. Now you do want to remember to turn it off just

because hotspot does consume a little bit more battery and if you're not using it there
