Welcome, in front of me is a Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro and today I will show you how you can

hard reset the device through recovery mode. Now this will also remove a screen lock if you have one and you don't know

And when I lock the device you should be able to see my screen lock

So I'll progress from the lock screen as though I don't know it

So number one, you'll want to hold your power key and turn off the device

So let's do it right now. Once the phone turns off hold power key and volume up at the same time

And as you can see it will boot you into recovery mode. It looks like we can let go of the power key and volume up once you see the Poco logo

So I hold it for a little bit too long and when I was letting go of the keys it did accept

one of the options so it took me a screen further so I will need to go back to the main menu

Okay, so there we go, that's what you should see. Now from here using volume keys to navigate up and down and power key confirm you'll want

to scroll down and select wipe data. Then wipe all data. Confirm

And there we go, data wipe successfully. So press power key once again to go back again and again and this will now initiate a reboot

Now even though it said data wipe successful it's still continuing the process in the background

right now so give it like several minutes to finish up. Once it has we should be greeted with Android setup screen
