From my music QBot X20 and today I will show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this device
0:14
So to get started we're going to go with the device theme as the first one
0:19
and you can quickly access in the settings there's the settings button
0:25
and under display you will find the device. device theme. Now with default it is set to be automatic based on the wallpaper, so if you have a dark wallpaper
0:35
it will set a dark theme and if you have a light wallpaper, well obviously it's going to set a light one
0:41
But you can basically cap it to be like permanent, dark or light. Now obviously this is not really a dark mode as you can see
0:49
It just kind of gives you Потому areas like for instance notifications where you will have this semi-dark mode
0:56
So it's not as prominent as an actual dark mode which extends to basically all the default applications and so on
1:04
So anyway moving on to the next option, it's going to be the show password option and it kind of sounds simple and also counterintuitive because it does the exact opposite of it
1:18
So let me just first show you area like for instance Wi-Fi connection
1:23
When you tap on some kind of Wi-Fi to connect to it, you'll have the password area
1:27
And when you start typing the password, it does... Not this area
1:31
There we go, password. So when you start typing it, it does show you the letter for like a second or so before it disappears
1:39
So you technically could see the entire password when someone is typing it
1:44
So to actually change this, we can go into the settings and security and location, scroll down, and you'll have this
1:52
show password option and by default it is turned on. So we disable it and now go back to our
2:01
Wi connection Start typing You can already see there is an immediate dot in the area Now you can still see that we have the little letter popping up here whenever you press the button
2:14
but to be honest this is a little bit harder to see compared to this being basically shown in the sequence
2:22
Now moving on to the next option, it's got to be the screen pinning option
2:28
Now this is something that you could use or utilize. use or utilize when you're lending your phone to someone I don't know maybe
2:35
someone said that they need to make a call or stuff like that and this basically allows you to lock them into a application that as an example they
2:42
claim they need to use so they don't go rummaging around your device checking all different things that you might have on there so let's open up settings
2:49
again navigate it back to the security and location I want to sub the advanced
2:55
option and then at the bottom you will have screen pinning which by default it's off. Now let's select on and we have the option to lack device when
3:04
unpinning. So what this will allow you to do because normally if you just turn it on
3:08
if someone figures out how to unpin which in here we have what is it. So we have open
3:17
overview to pin it. We believe let's see. There we go. So to unpin it we're basically
3:29
to hold a back button and recent button at least that is with the buttons itself now i
3:35
believe if you're using the pill option which is the default one you just have to hold both of
3:41
the options that are visible which is the back and the home slash recent depending how you
3:46
want classify it so right here yeah if you try to leave it tells you even how to unpin it which
3:55
if you don't have any kind of screen luck seems a little bit counterproductive to be on
3:59
because I'll need to do is just this and you can leave
4:03
So what you can do is go back here do a screen pinning and also check that lock device when unpinning Now this will force you to set up a screen lock on it if you don have any
4:18
So I'm just going to quickly set one up. And there we go
4:25
So now if I lock this device, or not device but up, if I try to unpin it, it might show me how to do it, but if I do it, bam it
4:37
device is locked so I would need to know the pattern to actually unlock the
4:44
device and then continue to leave the application so it's a I would say
4:51
fairly decent application in terms of like securities or not application but
4:55
just a feature now anyway let's move on to the next option which is just a
5:00
simple split screen now personally I like to use split screen along with
5:05
to YouTube. It allows me to watch YouTube videos or listen to them at least without
5:09
actually needing to pay any subscription and actually do other things on my
5:13
device. So let's start off by opening up YouTube application because I just
5:19
prefer to have it on top. So I'll start off with it because that will open it up
5:24
on top always, the first application that you want to split screen with. So again let's stop on the YouTube icon and then select split screen. And voila, it's already in
5:33
split screen. And from here you can click on home find another application that you want to split screen with you could also
5:39
already interact with this right here or once you actually play something you can go home and
5:46
even when it's in this tiny little window that you don't really have the option to interact with
5:51
it won't pause anything that you're watching which already is a nice option here now i'll also warn
5:58
you before you start opening up any kind of application not all applications support split screen
6:04
majority of them should but there are apps that will not so it looks like we
6:11
are forced to be 50 split but as can see you can watch videos right here and do other things I to be playing any kind of video right here just for copyright reasons but obviously you could and it wouldn pause it
6:26
And when you go home, it still will continue to play it. Now, going back to the applications that don't support split screen
6:33
I believe camera is one of them. As you can see, I just gave us a pop-up that it doesn't support it
6:38
and it just automatically quits split screen and closes up the application. So keep that in mind
6:44
Now, going on to the last option that I want to show you, it's going to be the pill option
6:52
the navigation, however you want to classify this. I personally am not a fan of the kind of like beginning state of gesture navigations because
7:06
that's kind of what it was. So I prefer to have just a typical navigation buttons instead of this one key in between
7:12
So if you're the same type of person that just don't like the pill button, then you can revert back to the original navigations
7:22
So to do so, all you need to do is go into the navigation bar, I believe
7:26
And nope, my bad. Not here. It's here for basically just the switch of the buttons
7:33
As you can see, you can flip them to the other side. But the actual option is going to be under system, gesture
7:42
or system navigation. What am I doing? There we go, gestures, and so I have up on home button
7:52
And once you enable this or disable in this case, enabled it is by default enabled
7:58
which comes with this kind of pill button. So if you want to get back to the normal ones
8:03
just turn it off and you're all set now. So anyway, as being said, this would conclude all the tweaks
8:11
tricks that I want us to show you and if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
